BEFORE YOU BEGIN

Welcome to the Pilbara Traditional Owners Participation Support (Fund) – Pilot online grant application form.

The Pilbara energy transition Fund - Pilot is a program designed to support eligible Registered Native Title Body Corporates to undertake eligible activities to:

  • identify and progress energy transition opportunities, and
  • engage with renewable generation developers.

Before submitting this application, please read the Traditional Owner Participation Fund – Pilot Guidelines to ensure that you meet the eligibility requirements and have all the required information needed to complete an application that addresses all the merit criteria.

Applications are open from 19 April 2024 to 30 June 2025. Applications will be assessed on rolling basis and may be closed prior to 30 June 2025, if the allocated funds become fully committed.

The Pilot Guidelines were developed by Energy Policy WA and the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development’s Aboriginal Economic Development team considering the Pilbara Roundtable consultations undertaken for the Australian Government’s First Nations Clean Energy Strategy.

Energy Policy WA will use the information from the Pilot to design long term, ongoing support in collaboration with Aboriginal corporations, organisations and communities in the Pilbara.

For queries on the Pilot Guidelines or to provide feedback, please contact the Pilbara Energy Transition team:phone:  08 6551 4600
